Cryss Beyond Borders

Applying to a UK university is rarely just about grades. It's paperwork. It's deadlines. It's understanding share codes, settled status, and which institution will actually advance your career — not just take your fee.

Beyond Borders exists for the students who deserve thoughtful, personal advice. I sit with you through the whole process: choosing the right course, gathering documents, completing the application, and following through until you're enrolled. No call centres. No templates. Just one advisor, focused on you.

With care, Cryss Beyond Borders — Student Advisor

04 — In their words

Stories from students who made it.

Real students who sat where you're sitting now — unsure, overwhelmed, or somewhere in between — and made it through to the right course.

I had no idea what to study or where to start. Cryss took the time to actually understand what I wanted from my career, then matched me to a course I hadn't even heard of. I'm in my second term now and genuinely happy.

I'd been putting off applying for months because the paperwork felt overwhelming. Within two weeks of speaking to Cryss, my share code, NINo, and supporting documents were sorted, the application was in, and I had an offer. She made it feel easy.

I came to the UK from Romania last year and thought university was out of reach. Cryss explained every step in plain English, sorted my settled-status check, and walked me through funding options. I start in September.

05 — Application form

Begin your application.

i.

Personal details

Tell me a little about yourself. All fields marked with a small mark are required.

ii.

Contact information

iii.

Immigration & status

These details are required by the institution. Your share code is the temporary code provided by gov.uk to prove your right to study.

iv.

Chosen institution & course

If you already know what you'd like to study, fill these in. Otherwise leave blank — we'll choose the right institution and course together.

v.

Next of kin

A family member or close contact we can reach in case of emergency.

vi.

Required documents

Upload clear photos or scans of each document. PDFs and images (JPG, PNG, HEIC) are accepted. If you can't upload one now, leave it — you can send it later by WhatsApp.

Tip: Each file should be under 10 MB. If your file is too large, take a clearer photo or compress it before uploading. Files are encrypted in transit and stored securely — only Cryss can access them.

vii.

Other documents

— optional

Some universities ask for extra documents — references, personal statements, English language certificates, work experience letters. If you have any, upload them here. You can also add anything else you think might be useful.

Your details are kept private, used only for your application, and never shared. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Preparing…

Thank you.

Your application has been received securely. I'll be in touch within 24 hours to arrange a conversation about your next steps.

In the meantime, please prepare your passport and share code so we can move quickly.

06 — Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

The questions students ask me most often. If yours isn't here, the WhatsApp button is just there in the corner — I usually reply within minutes.

Most applications are processed in 2–4 weeks from start to confirmed enrolment, though it depends on the institution and your start date. UK universities typically have September, January, and April intakes — I'll work backwards from whichever fits you best.

A share code is a temporary code from gov.uk that lets the institution check your right to study in the UK. If you have settled or pre-settled status, you can generate one for free at gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status — takes about five minutes.

If you get stuck, message me on WhatsApp and I'll walk you through it screen by screen.

Yes, of course. Leave the institution and course sections blank when you submit. Choosing the right course is genuinely the most important thing I help with — we'll have a conversation about your goals, your budget, and what you actually want from the next year, then pick something that fits.

Not necessarily. Most courses ask for either an English qualification (such as IELTS) or proof you've previously studied in English. Some institutions also offer pre-sessional language support if your level isn't quite there yet.

I'll match you with options that fit your level — not the other way around.

For most students with the right immigration status, yes — usually up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time during holidays. The exact rules depend on your visa or status, so we'll check together as part of your application.

The Beyond Borders CV Builder can also help you put together a CV ready for part-time work alongside your studies.

You'll see a confirmation right away. I'll then read through your application and reply within 24 hours — by email or WhatsApp, whichever suits you — to arrange a quick conversation about your next steps.

After that, you'll send your supporting documents (passport, share code, address proof) and I take it from there: submission, follow-ups, and offer confirmation.

Yes. Your personal details are kept private, used only for your application, and never shared with anyone outside the institution you choose. You can ask me to remove your data at any time.

A full privacy notice will be added to the website ahead of going live.
